Hrachuhi Grigoryan
Hrachuhi Grigoryan is a type designer and illustrator from Armenia, born in 1983. In 2004 she graduated from Vanadzor State Pedagogical University, department of fine arts and graphics. After graduating she has created illustrations for different publishing houses and continues up till now. There are more than 15 printed books with Hrachuhi’s illustrations. Since 2007 she worked in Armenian National Book Chamber as senior type designer. Shis typefaces were displayed at exhibitions in Lincoln, London, Hampshire, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Munich, Alexandria, Yerevan and Oshakan. Since 2017 she workes in Armenian National Library as a type designer.
Hrachuhi has create display and text Unicode typeface families with Armenian and Latin alphabet systems. Her typefaces were awarded 1-st, 2-nd, 3-rd prizes and special mention at the GRANSHAN non-Latin typedesign competition
